Cameron Clokie is an experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeon and scientist. He is also an entrepreneur. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Induce Biologics Inc., which is a regenerative medicine company that focuses on musculoskeletal reconstruction through creative solutions. In 1993, Cameron Clokie founded his bone research group at McGill University. Academic dentistry and clinical practice has been at the forefront of Clokie’s career for 30 years. As a result, he was previously named as the Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1998. He then became Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto. He held those positions until he retired as a professor in 2017. He has served in various roles on scientific advisory boards of numerous companies.

Throughout the course of his professional career, Clokie has published countless papers and constructed many presentations on bone reconstruction and regenerative medicine. His presentations were done both nationally and international.

Cameron Clokie worked hard to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1985, followed by completion of his specialty training in 1990. He then received a doctorate (PhD) in bone regeneration from McGill University in 1992.

Clokie has taken on leadership in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Because of his innovative contributions and strategies to the surgical control of the jaws, he is greatly desired as a clinician and instructor.

Clokie proved his skills and knowledge through his latest invention. He came up with a treatment that involved protein made of adult stem cells that would change into bone tissue. It has transformed the coming years of reconstructive surgery.
